  • Principal's Message

McNally high school is an inviting and inclusive school community where diversity is celebrated and valued, and where being yourself is welcomed and encouraged. As a Tiger, you belong here! We are committed to providing a positive learning environment that will foster and support a strong academic, athletic and creative atmosphere, capitalizing on the value of strong relationships. McNally is the right size of high school - we are large enough to offer a good diversity of programming, and small enough to really get to know you and provide support for each one of our students.

Celebrating 60 Years of Tiger Pride!

This school year, McNally is proud to be recognizing 60 years of Tiger Pride. At the end of September, we hosted our annual Tiger Pride Football Game and 60th Anniversary Open House and Nostalgia Tour; thank you to all who attended these events! This being said, the celebration is not over! Throughout the year, we will be inviting our alumni and community to continue the celebration. In recognition of the 60th, we're re-launching the McNally Hall of Honour and are proud to introduce our Adopt-A-Tiger Initiative. Please see the details below.

    Adopt-A-Tiger!

McNally is proud of the long tradition of excellence woven into its school culture that is often demonstrated across academics, arts, and athletics. The foundation to this excellence across and within these disciplines is made up of a collection of experiences that McNally is proud to offer its student body. One of the strengths exemplified within our student body is that the vast majority of our students are participating and contributing to our culture of Tiger Pride in not just one or two ways but in multiple experiences both in and out of the classroom through both curricular and extra-curricular activities.

All of these experiences come at a financial cost and while we are very diligent with the resources available to us, have worked hard to keep student fees relatively low, and have accessed multiple grants available to support program delivery, financial obstacles do have an impact on equitable participation across our school.
