Dual Credit Opportunities
McNally High School offers a variety of dual credit opportunities that allow students to earn both high school and post-secondary credits while exploring future career and educational pathways. These programs provide students with authentic learning experiences, exposure to post-secondary expectations, and a head start on their future goals.
Psychology
Students interested in human behaviour, mental health, and social sciences can explore university-level psychology while still in high school. This dual credit opportunity introduces foundational concepts in psychology and helps students develop critical thinking, research, and analytical skills that are valuable in a wide range of post-secondary programs and careers.
Anatomy & Physiology
This course is ideal for students interested in health sciences, medicine, nursing, kinesiology, or related fields. Students gain an understanding of the structure and function of the human body while experiencing the rigor of post-secondary coursework and earning credits toward future studies.
Health Care Aide
Through our partnership with NorQuest College, students can complete a full semester in the Health Care Aide program with the support of high school! Students gain practical experience in the healthcare sector while earning both high school and post-secondary credits. Students develop foundational knowledge and practical skills related to patient care, healthcare systems, and professional expectations in health-related careers.
Business & Innovation
Students with an interest in entrepreneurship, business, leadership, and innovation can participate in dual credit programming connected to McNally's Business & Innovation pathway. Through a partnership with MacEwan University, students earn university credits while developing skills in business planning, problem-solving, design thinking, and entrepreneurship.
